Pacific Crest Trail : A Trail of Forgiveness
What started it all.
The early summer of 2022, I hit a realization. I have been dedicating my life in helping others. I have been fortunate to randomly travel all over the world helping all sorts of populations and demographics. Veterans have always been my priority and I would drop everything to help where I can. But being from Guam I was limited to online forums and small micro-reunions/events to helping Veterans.
Realizing I was in a birdcage, I realized I was stopping myself in expanding my reach to the world. I could always do things on my phone with reception. The Pandemic showed me I can be anywhere in the world. But meeting people face to face and seeing struggle first hand was limited. One of my goals in life was to always do the Pacific Crest Trail.
The more I researched it, the more I realized that this was not just a journey, this was a completely different experience. Meeting people on the trail. Seeing the world's beauty first hand. Randomly I through out this idea to the innerwebs and traction hit. Friends supported me and some even wanted to go. so why not. you only live once.
