Battle Buddy Talks

Connecting others to a Tribe.

Getting out of the Military was hard. I realized that I felt alone with my thoughts, experiences and way of thinking. In working with other Veterans, I realized there was a need to bring others together to support each other and share a culture that seemed lost since getting out of the military. The shared experiences of raising your right hand and defending the country was a catalyst of bringing people from all walks of life together. to share stories, help each other and navigate the system to live a better life after service. As a Social Worker I am able to connect Veterans to services and resources that would benefit the need of individuals through a client centered perspective. But this is not traditional work or a clinical practice. This is being there for another human being when they need it the most. If you are a Veteran that is struggling in life, or you know a Veteran that may benefit from this, reach out and join a TRIBE!

I understand, this may not be for everyone, or some may not be into talking about their feelings... but just know... help is out there. STAY IN THE FIGHT. Shino.
