Our Work
We Started a project in 2019 helping the growing population of struggling children in an isolated area of Baseco on the outskirts of Manila. The project started with just feeding the children. Giving them a hearty meal, and we all instantly fell in love with the kids. We saw their smiles in something so simple to us, that we wanted to do more. Thus the Name: Masayang Bata ( "Happy Kids" ) We gave the Church we were working with medical supplies and training on how to use them, we did a clean up of the area, alongside an intercoastal cleanup, we did a Christmas drop of over 500 lbs of toys and we recently did a Jiu jitsu seminar to inspire, introduce a new skill and empower them to never give up. Other projects include allowing the church to be more modern in helping the children with education and facilitating adoption. These last two are ongoing with a lot of work and research.

The Christmas Drop
Probably the highlight of our project. Dressing up as Santa and being able to share smiles with simple gifts to the children. Sometimes we don't have enough for everyone, but we usually provide a treat at the end, usually Pizza or Ice Cream and hang out with the children.

Jiu Jitsu Seminar
Introducing Jiu Jitsu to the children, offering them a positive outlet and hope for a brighter future. Providing the kids with the chance to learn discipline, build confidence and escape the cycle of poverty.

Providing a Safe Environment
We having been helping this Church Led by a handful of Nuns with the Missionary Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament and Mary Immaculate. With all the environmental changes and the number of children and families they help, there are some things that are hard for them to procure. We have taken it upon our group to assist with this. We are looking to fix the roof of their building and assisting with access to clean water.

Adoption
Working on understanding the local and international laws in place to assist with facilitating this process.
